Microsoft replaced it’s old and lazy web browser, i.e. Internet Explorer with the whole new Microsoft Edge web browser in Windows 10. But in some case, you can still find Internet Explorer installed on your computer. I noticed the same, and even after having Microsoft Edge browser, I’m still able to use the old browser. Finally, I found a way to remove it from my PC and below I have explain that how you can uninstall Internet Explorer from Windows 10.

I don’t think that you can uninstall Internet Explorer from the Control Panel. And the method mentioned below is the only way to uninstall Internet Explorer from your PC. The method might also work on Windows 8 or 8.1.

Uninstall Internet Explorer from Windows 10

Most of the people use Internet Explorer just to download the setup file of Chrome or Firefox or any other web browser. Recently by improving the old browser, Microsoft have added Edge web browser as a built-in program. But I don’t use Edge browser a lot or use at all. Let me know in the comment section below if you did use Internet Explorer and use Microsoft Edge browser now.

Steps:

I have already mentioned that you just can’t uninstall Internet Explorer from the Control Panel. Infect you won’t find the program on Control Panel. The only way you can uninstall Internet Explorer mentioned below.

At first, go to Control Panel program uninstall page, the direction indicated below:

>Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

Now from the sidebar click on Turn Windows features on or off

Now it’ll give you a popup, from the popup window untick the Internet Explorer. Check the screenshot below:

Once you click to untick the Internet Explorer, it’ll give you another popup. Just click on the Yes option.

Hitting the Yes option will start searching for the program (Internet Explorer) and uninstalling it.

Once the process finishes, it’ll ask you to restart your PC or give you an option to restart later. Choose the option which suits you the most.

I prefer restarting the PC right away, and I will recommend you the same.

Conclusion

That’s how you can uninstall Internet Explorer from your Windows 10 running PC. The method might also work for Windows 8 or 8.1 running PC or might not work for some of the Windows 10 built. Let me know in the comment space below if you were able to uninstall Internet Explorer by following the above method or not.

Control Panel is the necessary part of a computer or a device. There are many ways with whom you can launch into Windows 10 control panel, and today I’m going to introduce you to 7 different ways to start Control Panel in Windows 10.

Nobody wants to go through a long and complicated process, and because of that, I have mentioned all the possible ways to launch control panel in Windows 10 below. Go with the method which suits you the most.

Launch Control Panel in Windows 10

Everybody wants a shortcut, and because of that, the first method in our list is the shortcut.

Shortcut

No doubt that this is the easiest and quickest way to access any settings, program or application. All of the Windows version comes with basic windows shortcut including Control Panel. In this method, all you need to do is double-click on the shortcut, and you’ll be on Control Panel window. If you don’t have the necessary Windows shortcuts, you can download out Windows 10 Super Shortcut package.

Seach for Control Panel

Cortana is one of the great addition to Windows 10. No doubt that I don’t use Cortana to know about the weather, set reminder but I use it to search for the programs, apps, or even settings. You can easily find any application by searching for it on Cortana search bar.

Type Control panel on the search bar, and you’ll get the application.

WinX Menu

WinX menu has almost all the necessary settings and apps shortcuts. To open the WinX Menu press Windows Key + X and you’ll see a popup at the left corner of the screen.

You can also access the WinX Menu by right-clicking on the start button.

From the WinX Menu click on Control Panel and boom. This is one of the easiest ways to get access to Control Panel in Windows 10.

Open from Windows System folder

I don’t know if you are aware of it or not but Windows 10 starts menu has a folder named Windows System, and it includes CMD, Control Panel, Default Programs, Windows Defender, Run app and more.

Here you want to launch control panel so, click on Control Panel and you’ll be there.

Pin to Start

If you are too lazy to search for the name of the app or locate it under the Windows System folder (Yes, I’m that lazy), you can simply Pin it to the start menu and go to Control Panel from the start menu.

Pin to Taskbar

Well, this is the perfect and quickest solution for your laziness. Search for the control panel using the Method 2 and right click on Control Panel. Now click on the Pin to taskbar option and boom. You’ll never need to find the control panel. Just click on the Control Panel icon in the Taskbar.

Use Run

With the Run app, you can run almost all the programs and so do the Control Panel. To open control panel using Run press the Windows Key + R. Well, there are also many ways available with whom you can open the Run box. Now in the box, type control panel and hit the OK button.

And, you’ll be in the Control Panel window.

Conclusion

These are 7 alternative way of each other with whom you can jump to the Control Panel in Windows 10. Maybe I have missed some of the methods, if you know about anymore alternative method with whom we can get access to the 8 Perfect & Alternative Way to Launch Control Panel in Windows 10, feel free to leave a comment below and I’ll be happy to added them to the list.

After that it’ll give you a popup window, you can choose from the restart or exit without restart option. Now reboot your PC, and it’ll automatically boot into safe mode.

Shift + Restart Combination

This is the easiest method to get access to Windows 10 safe mode. Note that the method only works when you are on the Sign In screen, to be in the Sign In screen at first lock the PC by pressing Windows + L.

Once you are on the Sign In window, click on the power icon (Do not click on any options). Now hold the Shift (left) button and click on the Restart option.

Then your Windows will reboot and ask for you to chose an option. Click on Troubleshoot, just like shown in the screenshot below:

After choosing the Troubleshoot option, it’ll give you two options to choose between. Click on the Advanced options:

Now you’ll get many advanced options to choose between. Click on the Startup settings.

Now hit the Restart button and while restarting you’ll get the option to boot your PC into safe mode. Press F5 to enable Safe mode with networking or press F6 to enable safe mode with CMD.

Boot From A Recovery Drive

You can use the recovery drive app on Windows 10 to create system recovery USB drive.

Once you are done with creating a USB recovery drive, plug it in and use it to boot your computer. Now it’ll ask you to load its content and do so.

The very first screen will ask you to choose the layout or language for your keyboard, choose which suits you the most.

After choosing the keyboard, it’ll ask you to chose an option. Click on Troubleshoot.

After choosing the troubleshoot, follow the second method to get access to Windows 10 safe mode. In simple, follow this: Toubleshoot>Advanced options>Startup Settings>Restart>F4 or F5 or F6.

Conclusion

These are the simple and possible way how you can get access to Windows 10 Safe Mode. If you ask me to recommend a method for you, go with the second method. It is a lot easier and comfortable with anyone. You can also choose to go with the method 1 which will give you 100% access to the Windows 10 safe mode.

Maybe all of your know how to take Screenshots on Windows 10. Taking screenshot is not a rocket science or even work, but the real question is do you all the possible way to take a screenshot. Maybe you know about 2-3 ways to take a screenshot, but here in this article, I’m going to introduce you to 5 amazing and the most probably you don’t know about methods, with whom you can take screenshot on your Windows 10.

Nobody knows when you’ll need to take a screenshot and at that time knowing the easiest or quickest way to capture a screenshot will help you.

Windows + PtrScn

I found this method easiest and pretty useful regarding taking screenshots on Windows 10. Of course, you can use the same shortcut key to take screenshots in the previous version of the Windows. With the method, you can take the screenshot of any screen on Windows 10, except games. When you try to capture the screen of a game using the method, you’ll get a full black screen.

After clicking the screenshot, the picture gets automatically saved on your computer, and you can find it on C:\Users\Thomas\Pictures\Screenshots.

Ctrl + PrtScn

With this shortcut method, you can copy any active window or screen of your computer. Of course with this method, you can’t directly save the screenshots like the method 1. But you can paste the copied screenshot on built-in tools like Paint and do some editing also. Just press Windows + PtrScn key on any active window and open the paint tool and paste it by pressing Ctrl + V.

Alt + PrtScn

Well, Alt+PrtScn method is same as the method #2. You need to follow the same process, same work and then save it to any Windows folder you want. While editing the picture, you can add text, erase areas, crop the image, do the paint job and much more.

Snipping Tool

Snipping Tool comes with Windows 10/8/7 as a pre-installed program, and with it, you can capture any screen of your computer. There are also various options available to capture the screen; you can select any area of the Window to obtain or choose the full-screen mode and more. You can also set a delay in capturing a screenshot, and you get to do basic edit automatically after capturing the screen and before saving it.

Windows + Alt + G

If you want to capture a screenshot while playing a game, you can do this by following any of the method mentioned above except this one. With the Windows + Alt + G shortcut you can activate the Xbox game bar and you’ll be able to capture the screen simply by clicking on the camera icon and it get’s automatically save on your Xbox account.

Conclusion

These are the possible way to take a screenshot on Windows 10. No doubt that I have missed some of the great and quick method, if you know about anymore method with whom we can take screenshot on Windows 10 without doing much work, please free free to mention it in the comment space below.

Some of the PC or Notebook by HP comes without Advanced Tab in BIOS and less dedicated video memory. In case you want to increase Video RAM of your PC, you needs access to the BIOS, and from the by going to the Advanced tab, you can modify the value. But if you don’t have an Advanced tab on the BIOS of your PC or Notebook, how will you increase the VRAM? Well, to help you with the problem here I’m going to show you how you can increase VRAM without BIOS on Intel HD Graphics. In the method mentioned below, you don’t need any advanced tab on your BIOS to increase the VRAM.

I was facing the VRAM issue on my HP Notebook – 15-ac122tu and then I contacted the customer support, and they let me know that my PC doesn’t support that feature. The have also sent me the user manual guide for my Notebook where it was mention that the PC don’t support the increase in VRAM, etc.

But I didn’t stop and finally found a way to increase the VRAM for my PC without having the Advanced tab on BIOS menu.

There is also a maximum limit for VRAM, for example, if your PC have 4GB of RAM you can increase the VRAM up to 512MB only. In case you have 8GB RAM you can set the VRAM up to 1GB (max).

So, let’s know how we can increase VRAM without having access to BIOS. Also, let me tell you that the process doesn’t require any coding or software, you just need to follow the crystal clear method mentioned below.

Increase VRAM without BIOS: No need access to BIOS Advanced Tab

Before we start, let’s check the VRAM you have. Right-click on your desktop and click on Display settings. After that click on Advanced display settings and click on Display adapter properties. It will give you a popup showing the properties of your display adapter. In my case, it is showing 128MB, and I have 4GB RAM PC so I can increase it up to 512MB.

But I don’t have access to the BIOS, so you / I need to follow the steps given below to increase the VRAM of your PC. At first, confirm how you RAM you have installed on your PC and checked the list below:

4GB RAM = 512MB VRAM

8GB RAM = 1GB VRAM

etc

Steps to increase VRAM without BIOS

At first, open Run box on your PC by pressing Windows Key+R or right click on the start menu and choose Run (Windows 10)

On the Run box type ‘Regedit’” and click OK

Now on the blank space, Right-click and select New and then click on DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Name the value as DedicatedSegmentSize and click on space or hit enter to save it

Now Double-click on the DedicatedSegmentSize value and modify the value from 0 to 512MB (in case you have 8GB RAM, make it 1024MB).

Click OK to save the settings, and you are all done.

After saving the value, now you’ll need to restart your PC to see the change. Now simply restart your computer.

After restarting your PC, again follow the same process mentioned above to open the Display adapter properties. And there you’ll be able to see the change clearly, in my case it was 128MB, and now it has been changed to 512MB which is the maximum VRAM for a 4GB RAM PC. With the Max VRAM you can play lots of games on your PC, even there are lots of 4GB RAM games available for your PC that you can play with rarely noticeable lag with max VRAM. Also, check how to boost the performance of Windows 10 running PC.

That’s how you can increase VRAM without BIOS access. The method works for all PC with Intel HD Graphics. Also, if you face any problem by following the method mentioned here, feel free to leave a comment below, and we’ll look into your issue. You’ll see an FPS boost after increasing the VRAM of your PC.
