Simultaneously, certain homepage elements will retain their original form, including the Cast option, recommendation tabs, and account access menu, all situated on the right.

Earlier this year, YouTube Music also updated its design on smartphones, aiming for a cohesive look. The service rolled out a UI redesign to playlists and albums on both Android smartphones and iOS devices.

Post-update, the library tab now showcases a drop-down menu at the top, enabling users to swiftly toggle among four different options, including Library, Downloads, and Device files. The “History,” “Cast,” “Search,” and “Account” buttons are still accessible on the right of the Library tab at the top.

Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has announced that Apple’s next-generation and much-awaited AirPods will not be released this year but in 2021. As per reports, Kuo said that the 3rd generation AirPods would hit production in early 2021 while the second-generation AirPods are scheduled to head into production in the fourth quarter of 2021 or probably in the first quarter of 2022. Alongside these announcements, the report also discarded claims of the new Apple AirPods releasing later this year, as was earlier being expected. 

Kuo also said that the new AirPods would continue with the same design as that of earlier AirPods. Apple had earlier retained the original designs of their AirPods in their latest AirPods too. These second-generation AirPods and AirPods pro, which were launched in 2019, looked similar to the first-generation AirPods (launched in2016). But they had internal upgrades such as improved sound quality, the hey-Siri feature, active noise cancellation, and H1 audio chip.

What will be new in the 3rd gen AirPods then?  These new AirPods will adopt the SIP or system-in-package design, which will give them a slimmer appearance and make them faster.

Due to COVID-19, the restrictions, transactions have taken a significant setback. To boost the online shopping and deals, Google, on Tuesday, declared that the advertising plans would be free for merchants to sell their products on Google.

Bill Ready, Google’s President of Commerce, wrote in his blog post “Beginning next week, search results on the Google Shopping tab will consist primarily of free product listings, helping merchants better connect with consumers, regardless of whether they advertise on Google,”

This will help retailers, shoppers, and advertisers. Retailers will get more exposure to people who use Google shopping tab to find products and stores near them. For advertisers, paid campaigns are now augmented with free listings. Shoppers can now discover more stores and products through the shopping tab. And for retailers, this change means free exposure to millions of people who come to Google every day for their shopping needs.

This change will be made in the US before April end; Google has also planned to expand this globally at the end of the year.

“If you’re an existing user of Merchant Center and Shopping Ads, you don’t have to do anything to take advantage of the free listings, and for new users of Merchant Center, we’ll continue working to streamline the onboarding process over the coming weeks and months,” Ready wrote.

Google and PayPal has made a partnership, and this partnership will benefit retailers and merchants to link their bank accounts and speed up the ongoing change.

“Solutions during this crisis will not be fast or easy, but we hope to provide a measure of relief for businesses and lay the groundwork for a healthier retail ecosystem in the future,” he added to the blog.
