Xiaomi is one of those few brands in the smartphone industry that have been successful in carving a niche for itself. And now, the Chinese smartphone maker is apparently in the process of launching the Mi 10 Youth edition, MIUI 12, and a brand new tablet on April 27 this year. Until now, no official word has come from the company, this news surfaced amidst a leaked poster hinting out at a possible new launch from Xiaomi.
Based on the leaked poster from Weibo, it has been noted that this tablet will be launched under the sub-brand Redmi and will be called Redmi Pad 5G. This means this tablet will support the 5G cellular connectivity instead of the old and passé 4G connectivity.
Redmi Pad 5G Details
According to the details shared in the leaked poster, the tablet will have several new and improved user-friendly features and modifications.
In addition to sporting slim bezels on the side, the soon-to-be-launched tablet will also have narrower and thinned down bezels at the top and the bottom. The tablet will have rounded corners with a small front-facing camera module on top. It is being said that there will be two color options available for buyers to choose from – black and white.
The specifications that have been leaked have made this tablet highly desirable among gadget lovers. It will rely on Snapdragon 765 SoC and a 90Hz refresh rate display. Just like the previous Mi Pad models, this one will also have a quad-speaker setup.
The Redmi Pad 5G will possess a 48 – megapixel camera with AI features and four speakers. Precise details are still unknown, but it is being said that it will come with a 30W fast-charging battery support. Since the tablet is from Xiaomi, it will run on Android with the MIUI for Pad overlay, which is specific only for Xiaomi tablets. All these features will ensure that the tablet brings in some user- friendly and convenient features. The expected price of the Redmi Pad 5G is 21, 768 INR, or 1,999 Yuan.
