Tecno is gearing up to broaden its Camon series in India, having confirmed the imminent arrival of the Camon 20 series smartphones. Earlier this month, the Tecno Camon 20 Pro and the Camon 20 Pro 5G models were launched in Nigeria and are now anticipated to debut in India as well.
The Camon 20 series, according to Tecno, will emphasize photography-based features, including Sensor-shift technology, RGBW Pro, and Portrait Master. Tecno announced via Twitter the launch date for the Camon 20 series, which is set for May 27. The series will consist of three models: the Tecno Camon 20, Tecno Camon 20 Pro, and Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G.
Tecno Camon 20 Specifications
The Tecno Camon 20 smartphone will be available in Glacier Glow, Predawn Black, and Serenity Blue color options. Powered by the Android 13 operating system, the device comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The phone runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage, which can be virtually expanded to 16GB.
The Camon 20 series features a triple rear camera setup with a quad flash. The standard Tecno Camon 20 model boasts a primary 64-megapixel sensor, accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary camera and an AI sensor. For selfies, the phone carries a 32-megapixel front camera. A robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging fuels the phone.
The Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G model is outfitted with MediaTek’s newest Dimensity 8050 SoC, while the Camon 20 Pro edition uses a 6nm Helio G99 SoC. Both models offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage capacity.
