412

A few days ago, Realme Buds Air entered the market, and it’s already gaining immense popularity. Here we are going to review the Realme Buds Air, A wireless headphone that costs just USD 59.99 or Rs 3,999 in India.

Realme Buds Air looks a lot like Apple Airpods, they got a similar design, but at a very affordable price. Google connects with your smartphone using Google Fast Pair, featuring Bluetooth v5.0. Open up the case, and it will get connected to your smartphone automatically.

The thing I love about the Realme Buds Air is that its available in three different colors. You can choose between White, Black, and Yellow.

Let’s look at the critical features of Realme Buds Air.

Features of Realme Buds Air

  • Touch controls
  • R1 Headphone Chip
  • Dual Mic with Environment Noise Cancellation Technology
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • Google Fast Pair Technology
  • 10 meters wireless range
  • Support Qi Wireless Charging
  • Type-C USB port
  • Up to 17 Hours Playback
  • Optical Sensor for Wear Detection

The best thing I love about the Realme Buds Air is the touch controls. You can double-tap to Answer a call or play/pause music right from the headphone. Tripple tap on the headphone will skip to the next song, and pressing and hold will launch voice assistance or end/decline a phone call. They have also added a new feature right on the headphone, Game Mode. You can enter the Game Mode by pressing and hold both sides.

The battery life of the headphone is also awe-inspiring. It gives you a total of 17-hours playback time. It’s less than the OPPO Enco Free headphone, but the price of Realme Buds Air is half of Enco Free. Realme Buds Air also has the wireless charging feature as well as a USB Type-C port for charging.

Just like the Apple Airpods, Realme Buds Air has a smart in-ear detection feature. It will automatically turn into music playback when you put them in your ear and pause it once you remove them.

The Realme’s official site has some good test stats on Realme Buds Air. The website states that the headphone has tested for 12000 drops, 10000 times charging case opening & closing, 5000 times power on/off, 2500 times button waterproof, and -50/75 °C temperature.

These are really some good stats. The headphone has a very premium look, and I love the features it comes with. Especially the touch control features are much more efficient than Apple’s Airpods.

At a price tag of USD 59.99 or Rs 3,999 in India, Realme Buds Air is the most affordable Apple Airpods alternative we have tested so far. If you are using the headphone, please share your experience below.
