Nubia Play 5G with 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 765G Launched in China

Nubia has always tried to come up with new ideas, improving gaming phone hardware with the Red Magic line. The company has decided to push the boundaries and launch a midrange series dubbed Nubia Play. Nubia just launched the first phone from the series called ‘Nubia Play 5G’ in China.

Nubia Play 5G has a 6.65 inch FHD+ AMOLED display and the same 144Hz refresh rate as available in flagship Red Magic 5G. It has Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G connectivity and a long-lasting 5100mAh battery.

Nubia Play 5G has a clean and smooth cutout-free design, which includes classic top and bottom bezels. It also features a 240Hz touch sampling rate with an inbuilt fingerprint scanner.

It has a 48MP primary Sony IMX582 shooter alongside an MP ultrawide snapper aided by two 2MP modules in the back. These two 2MP modules help to capture for macro shots and another for depth shots. This phone also gives the user a 12MP front-facing selfie camera.

The right-hand side of the phone has two capacitive shoulder button features for gaming utility. Nubia Play 5G has a Snapdragon 765G paired with 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. It has nubiaUI 8.0 on top of Android 10. Another impressive feature of Nubia Play 5G is its battery. The 5100mAh battery has a 30W fast wired charging.

Nubia Play 5G has been launched in three colors, that are Black, Blue, and White color. Nubia Play 5G is already up for its pre-orders in China. The base model of Nubia Play 5G 6/128 GB will cost users CNY 2,400 ($340/ INR 26,030), the 8/128GB Nubia Play 5G is available for CNY 2,700 ($380/ INR 29,380) and the 8/256GB Nubia Play 5G is trim for CNY 3,000 ($425/ INR 32,645). The Nubia Play 5G will be available in China on April 24.
